The research part of any project takes time to find the right sources, the right information and statistics you need. I can take on the research, gathering the right statistics, quotes and factual information to help you prepare your ebook, articles or business reports.
How I can help
Here are the different types of projects I can help with:
- Gathering the statistics for a certain industry that give your project credibility
- Putting together the research, including the history, relevant people or trends, for a business report or e-book

What I provide and the process:
- We’ll start with an online meeting or phone call with the details of your project, getting an understanding of the aims of your project.
- Getting started on the project, carrying out in-depth research
- Regular communication with updates on progress, send over drafts – we can communicate in a way that works for you
- You can never communicate enough – I’ll often ask your opinion on a source or statistic to see what you think!
- A follow-up meeting to go through the research so far and address potential gaps
- Research that is structured logically, written in sections to help you organise your content
Why me?
As a writer and previous journalist, I have more than 10 years’ experience as a writer, carrying out research for various projects, to locate suitable sources, get interviews with credible spokespeople and put together relevant statistics.
I can take complicated research, pick out the main points, break it down and write it in a way that’s easy to understand and makes sense!
I’m good at partnership-building – I can make connections with people in a particular industry and get them involved in a partnership with mutual benefits. Linking to the right people will help your project gain more exposure and build credibility.

Rates
Hourly rates for research starts from £25 per hour.
As work is usually project-based, I will work with you to provide a fixed fee per project.
I ask for a 10% deposit to get a project started.
